We’ve had a lot of work to do moving the entire shop and making the new space our own, but we’re finally having time to fine tune our shaping room here at the new shop. We had our past employee and handplane shaper Tristan Emmons stop in to be the first to use the space and help us find out how to make the space better. WE’RE MOVING! We will be closed for business this Friday the 20th while we move and set up the new shop just down the street at 2658 South King Street. Halloween! But you don’t need a costume to ride this beauty of a handshape from Mitsuyuki Matsushita. Collect treats in the water any time of the year, and you don’t even have to say “Trick or Treat”!!! This 8’0″ is a sized down version of the official “Nelson Model” of Mitsu team rider Nelson Ahina, and he calls it the “baby Nelson”. As you can see in the photo Nelson likes to be Superman when he rides it. He rode this shape to great success this year in Japan, and even took home first as Hawaii champ at the No Rep contest at Sandy Beach!!!! A full high performance rip
